CROWN MARK ENERGY INC.
Crown Mark Energy Inc.
Transitioning to a decarbonized energy future with a low carbon intensity oil.
Crown Mark Energy is passionate about sustainability and reducing waste plastic. Our mission is to turn waste plastic into a valuable resource by producing pyrolysis oil through our innovative pyrolysis process.
We transform plastic waste that would otherwise end up in landfills or oceans into high-quality low carbon intensity renewable oil that can be used as a raw material in the production of new products. By doing so, we help to reduce the demand for fossil fuels and contribute to a cleaner, more sustainable future.
Our company is excited to be at the forefront of this transition to a low carbon energy future and look forward to creating a cleaner, more sustainable future.
What We Do
Crown Mark Energy is responsible for planning, designing, and constructing waste to energy (WTE) projects. Our primary role is to oversee the development and implementation of the project from start to finish. This includes conducting feasibility studies, obtaining necessary permits and approvals, designing, and constructing the facility.
Our company works closely with government agencies, environmental organizations, and other stakeholders to ensure our projects meet regulatory requirements and environmental standards.
We leverage our expertise in engineering and project management to work with our Clients to develop an understanding of the local market, regulatory environment, and energy market dynamics. Overall, Crown Mark Energy plays a critical role in the successful implementation of a WTE project and ensuring its long-term sustainability.
Executive Team
Marcus Paul

Marcus has spent over 20 years as an entrepreneur with specific expertise in all aspects of the start-up phase and strategy execution of business opportunities. The last 10 years has been devoted to development of opportunities in the environmental sector.
From his current and past business operations in Canada, Europe and Asia, he has gained valuable insights and built a strong network of international business and government contacts who he can rely on to realize potential business opportunities.
Marcus’ role is to consider the criteria for determining if waste to energy (WTE) technologies can be applicable to a particular waste generating operation. He evaluates the critical financial, marketing and business factors to determine if a potential opportunity can be developed into a viable and sustainable commercial scale operation. He works closely with the testing program and is responsible for overall business and marketing strategy. With a business plan in hand, Marcus collaborates with the various stakeholders on execution and implementation.
Brian Bordignon, P.Eng.
T: +1 416 550 4628
Brian is a Professional Civil Engineer licensed in Ontario, Canada and brings 25 years experience in project development of civil infrastructure and sustainable technology.
Brian has been instrumental in the evaluation and testing of green technologies designed for extracting energy products from a variety of waste materials. He is the chief architect of the feedstock testing program that has been designed around the in-house pyrolysis equipment which successfully demonstrates the conversion of non-recyclable plastic waste into pyrolysis fuel oil, syngas and carbon char. Although feedstock testing is done on a case-by-case basis, the testing program has already generated an extensive database on relative conversion yields of various plastic types, and the corresponding quality of the pyrolysis oil. This information is essential for successful waste to energy project implementation.
In addition to feedstock testing, fuel analysis and engineering design, Brian takes on the key management role for design and construction of Crown Mark's waste to energy projects.
